Business Division
To turn any HSL mission from CAD models to the real deal, non-technical support is crucial for success. That’s when we call in the Business Division to work their magic.
Overview
Here in the Business Division of HSL, we manage all non-technical operations essential to the lab's success and sustainability. We keep the wheels turning at HSL, handling fundraising, marketing, social media management, branding, financial oversight, sponsorships, and community outreach for the lab.
Overall, our division bridges the gap between the labs engineering achievements and external stakeholders including sponsors, university administration, and the broader community.

This committee develops and maintains the lab's visual image, including logos, color schemes, and design standards. They create promotional merchandise (t-shirts, stickers, you name it!) that enhances our labs visibility on campus and generates additional revenue for the lab.
This committee manages the lab's presence on digital media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and here on this website! They create engaging content for students, faculty, and industry partners, developing marketing strategies to increase awareness of our lab.
This committee coordinates public activities including lab tours, presentations, workshops, and conference participation. Along with facilitating external collaborations this committee organizes internal lab events and local engagements.
This committee finds and maintains funding opportunities through grants, corporate sponsorships, alumni networks, and crowdfunding campaigns. Working with both the Financial and Media Committees, they build relationships with potential sponsors, prepare proposals, and ensure proper recognition of supporters across all HSL platforms and branding.
